TaskGini Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TaskGini website, mobile applications, and services. These Terms explain the rules, responsibilities, and policies applicable to customers and service professionals using the TaskGini platform.

1. Introduction – TaskGini Terms and Conditions

TaskGini (“TaskGini”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates a technology platform that connects customers seeking home services with independent service professionals (“Professionals”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TaskGini’s website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Scope of Services

TaskGini provides a platform to facilitate booking and coordination of home services such as salon at home, home cleaning, electrician services, plumbing, AC repair, and geyser repair. TaskGini itself does not provide the professional services.

All services are performed by independent Professionals who are not employees or agents of TaskGini.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using TaskGini, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account details secure.

You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account. TaskGini is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to safeguard login credentials.

5. Booking and Service Requests

When you place a booking request, you agree to provide accurate service details, location, and availability. TaskGini will attempt to connect you with an available Professional.

Booking confirmation depends on professional availability, location, and service category. TaskGini does not guarantee availability at all times.

6. Pricing and Payments

Service pricing is displayed on the Platform or communicated during booking. Prices may vary based on service type, location, time, and additional requirements.

Payments, if enabled, may be processed through third-party payment providers. TaskGini does not store complete card or banking details.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings subject to applicable cancellation policies communicated at the time of booking.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the refund policy in effect at the time of the transaction. TaskGini reserves the right to deduct charges for late cancellations or no-shows.

8. Professional Verification and Conduct

TaskGini requires Professionals to undergo onboarding checks, which may include identity verification, skill assessment, document review, and police verification, where applicable.

While TaskGini takes reasonable steps to verify Professionals, it does not guarantee the conduct or performance of any Professional. Customers are advised to report any issues promptly.

9. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Provide accurate booking information
Treat Professionals with respect
Not misuse the Platform or services
Not engage in illegal, abusive, or fraudulent behaviour

TaskGini reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Reviews and Feedback

Users may provide ratings and feedback after services. Feedback must be honest, lawful, and non-defamatory. TaskGini may remove content that violates policies or applicable laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskGini shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or services provided by Professionals.

TaskGini’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the user for the relevant service.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskGini from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, trademarks, and platform materials belong to TaskGini or its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or use such content without prior written permission.

14. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. TaskGini is not responsible for the content or practices of such third parties.

15. Termination

TaskGini may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for legal or operational reasons, without prior notice.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Haryana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

TaskGini may update these Terms and Conditions, and the revised TaskGini Terms and Conditions will be published on this page. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

These TaskGini Terms and Conditions apply to all customers, professionals, and users accessing or using the TaskGini platform.
